About the role

21shares provides investors with regulated access to digital assets through ETPs listed on major European exchanges. We are seeking a Product Manager to guide the development of platform capabilities that support market entry and long-term operational scale.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with regional business units to assess development requests and prioritize roadmap items for market operations.
• Convert market needs into technical product requirements that emphasize system scalability.
• Coordinate with engineering and QA teams to define end-to-end system behavior and product solutions.
• Evaluate operational risks, system dependencies, and workflow constraints prior to project commitment.
• Rank product investments based on return on investment, efficiency, risk management, and cross-market utility.
• Utilize AI tools for documentation, prototyping, and analysis while maintaining final decision-making authority.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in product management, consulting, or operations involving the evolution of complex systems.
• Background in asset management, capital markets, trading, custody, fund operations, or the ETP/ETF lifecycle.
• Proven ability to analyze system tradeoffs and technical constraints in partnership with engineering leads.
• Capacity to identify hidden complexity, challenge existing assumptions, and present structured recommendations.
• Ability to function effectively in ambiguous settings where decisions require incomplete data.
• Disciplined application of AI tools to improve execution speed without compromising product judgment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with regulated products, crypto, or fintech.
• Familiarity with data systems, internal platforms, or operational workflows.
• Technical background or a strong aptitude for engaging in deep technical discussions.

Practical notes

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $135,000 to $150,000 per year. Total compensation is determined by individual factors including experience, certifications, and specific skill sets. Applicants must be prepared to work from the New York office three days per week.
