This role is for an individual contributor with significant organizational influence. You will be responsible for the complete product marketing lifecycle for our core Enterprise Password Manager. Your work will directly shape how the market perceives credentials security as 1Password continues its rapid expansion.

What you'll do
Own the messaging, positioning, and launch strategy for the Enterprise Password Manager.
Define how 1Password communicates credentials security for employees, service accounts, and AI agents.
Clearly articulate the narrative to analysts, IT buyers, security leaders, and sales teams, ensuring it resonates with both practitioners and executives.
Integrate the Enterprise Password Manager's story into the broader Unified Access platform narrative.
Develop and maintain market leadership claims and positioning for the Enterprise Password Manager.
Collaborate with Solutions Marketing to identify and articulate competitive advantages, understanding the competitive landscape thoroughly.
Monitor the evolving credentials security market to ensure 1Password's messaging remains forward-looking.
Create essential sales enablement materials, including discovery decks, battlecards, objection handling guides, and technical briefs.
Translate complex topics like passkeys, machine credential management, AI agent authentication, and zero-knowledge architecture into accessible customer conversation points.
Identify and synthesize win/loss signals from the field to inform repeatable go-to-market strategies.
Provide market insights, including customer evidence, analyst intelligence, competitive signals, and field feedback, to the Product team.
Advocate for market needs early in the product development process.
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, with specific experience in password management, enterprise vaulting, credentials security, or identity security.
Familiarity with general cybersecurity concepts.
Proven ability to reposition mature enterprise products, demonstrating a deep understanding of shifting market perception beyond simple messaging updates.
Experience marketing to enterprise IT and security decision-makers, including administrators, CISOs, and security engineers.
A history of success in competitive markets, including displacing established players.
Understanding of how credentials beyond passwords function, including API keys, certificates, machine secrets, and passkeys, and the process of issuing credentials to AI agents.
Knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including MDM, SSO, and directory services, and how password management fits within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem.
Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity and workflow, with the judgment to discern valuable output and the ability to own strategic recommendations.
Strong narrative development skills, capable of crafting compelling stories that address problems, present solutions, and resonate with specific audience needs.
Ability to write for diverse audiences without compromising message clarity, serving both technical users and executives.
Experience shaping category narratives, not just contributing to them.
Nice to have
Possession of security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or similar.
Experience developing thought leadership in rapidly evolving market categories.
Demonstrated experience in redefining an established product category.

This is a remote position within the United States and Canada.
Employees are expected to be willing and able to travel for in-person engagements, which may include annual department offsites, team meetings, and industry events.
