Engineering Manager, Managed Credentials
About the role
This position will lead a team responsible for developing and enhancing 1Password's Managed Credentials product. You will guide the product from its initial launch through its growth phases, ensuring it meets enterprise customer needs for credential governance and supports our Managed Service Provider offerings.

What you'll do
- Set and support the strategic direction for the Managed Credentials and Managed Service Provider (MSP) initiatives.
- Ensure team alignment with company goals and take ownership of project outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior technical staff to define a compelling technical vision for the team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design optimal solutions for customers.
- Plan and scope key deliverables for team projects and initiatives.
- Drive project execution, focusing on quality, speed, and clear communication.
- Provide technical guidance to developers within your team and across the organization.
- Mentor individual contributors to foster their professional development.
- Recruit and retain high-caliber talent in a rapidly expanding company.
- Contribute to scaling a specialized engineering team by refining hiring and development processes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience managing engineering teams.
- Substantial experience in full-stack web development, enabling technical discussions and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to cultivate a positive and supportive team environment that encourages growth and achievement.
- Demonstrated capability in driving project delivery and developing future work roadmaps.
- Experience scaling both teams and the services they manage.
- Experience leading remote teams.
