About the role
This senior leadership position is responsible for defining and executing the market approach for 1Password's core product suite. You will lead a team of product marketers while also owning the strategic direction, messaging, and go-to-market plans for key offerings.

What you'll do
- Guide and develop a team of product marketing managers, fostering clear thinking and effective communication.
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Enterprise Password Manager, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust.
- Craft compelling market narratives that position 1Password's core products for the AI era.
- Create practical sales enablement materials, including battlecards and technical guides, that are readily adopted by sales and solutions engineers.
- Act as the voice of the market, influencing product strategy and roadmap decisions with customer insights, competitive intelligence, and field feedback.
- Represent 1Password externally in analyst briefings, customer discussions, and thought leadership forums.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with significant experience in identity security, credential management, or access governance.
- Demonstrated experience marketing AI-adjacent or AI-native security solutions.
- Understanding of how identity security needs to adapt to support developers and AI builders.
- Ability to communicate technically complex products effectively to diverse audiences, including IT leaders, security engineers, and CISOs.
- Proven success in competitive markets, including reframing categories or displacing established players.
- A solid grasp of how AI agents are changing identity and access security needs.
- Familiarity with developer toolchains such as IDEs, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD platforms, including associated secrets management practices.
- Experience directly managing product marketing professionals for at least 3 years, with a history of developing team members.
- Strong strategic storytelling skills, capable of writing for multiple audiences without losing message clarity.
- Proven ability to shape category narratives.
Nice to have
- CISSP, Security+, or similar security certifications.
- Experience driving thought leadership in rapidly evolving technology sectors.
