What you'll do

• Develop scalable systems for administrator notifications across various communication channels.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define and measure project success.
• Maintain architectural integrity and security while iterating quickly on features.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Influence technical direction and drive initiatives within the team.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
• Strong command of Go, including experience building public APIs and distributed backend services.
• Proven ability to work independently, lead projects, and influence technical decisions.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale asynchronous, event-driven, or queue-based distributed systems.
• A strong product sense with a focus on user experience and customer empathy.

Nice to have

• Experience in security development practices, threat modeling, or building systems for sensitive data.
• Familiarity with containerized services and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with high-volume transactional email systems, including ESPs and SMTP relays like Amazon SES and SendGrid.
